About Village of Howard

The Village of Howard is a community of more than 22,000 residents located on the northwest side of Green Bay. Established in the 1800s and incorporated as a village in 1959, Howard has grown from a small community along Duck Creek into one of the larger and more established villages in the Green Bay area. That growth has included residential neighborhoods, local businesses, industrial development, parks and public facilities that support everyday life in the community. The Village provides municipal services that support public safety, infrastructure, planning, parks and recreation, and day-to-day operations that keep the community running. We serve residents, businesses,and visitors with a focus on clear communication, responsible decision-making, and maintaining a safe and welcoming place to live and work.
