VASSP is a unified affiliate of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and offers membership to practicing secondary school administrators. It is governed by a 16-member Board of Directors of which nine directors represent established geographical regions in the state. The mission of the Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals, Inc. is to assist school principals and assistant principals in providing leadership to their schools and communities for the purpose of improving the education of Virginia's youth.
