Founded in 1959, The Virginia Governmental Employees Association (VGEA) is a voluntary, non-partisan group of State employees and retirees who advocate on matters of pay, health care, workplace protections, and retirement. Our lobbying and advocacy is focused on the: - Virginia General Assembly - Office of the Governor - Department of Human Resource Management and - Virginia Retirement System Board of Trustees We are a membership organization for Virginia state employees and retirees.
