About Virotea

We are an innovative company in healthtech with a vision to improve the quality of life for care recipients through immersive experiences and the training of healthcare professionals using virtual reality (VR). 🎯 Our Mission: Virotea is committed to addressing the challenges in healthcare. We understand that there can be barriers such as high staff turnover, time constraints, and limited activity opportunities for residents in healthcare and caregiving. Therefore, we strive to support organizations by offering digital tools and welfare technology to enhance the care experience. ✈️ Travel the World from Your Couch: ViroteaVR enables elderly care residents to experience the world without leaving their homes. It is a solution that provides a sense of adventure and opens doors to new places and cultures. ✅ Understanding Through Experience: With ViroteaED, healthcare professionals can step into the shoes of individuals with cognitive impairments. By experiencing daily life from their perspective, staff gain a deeper understanding of their needs and challenges. This goes far beyond traditional competence development and provides tools to improve the care of individuals with autism or dementia. 🔁 Unlimited Repetition: We believe that practice makes perfect. With our VR technology, staff can practice and experience work-related situations and social interactions as many times as they want without impacting patients or care recipients. 🧑🏻‍💻 Simple and Customized Technology: Virotea offers user-friendly VR glasses specially designed for an industry where tech knowledge may be limited. It's easy to select a film and press play to start the immersive experience. 😍 Better Care Through Increased Empathy: Virotea aims to increase staff empathy and understanding, leading to improved interactions and higher-quality care for patients and care recipients. Together, we enhance healthcare and caregiving through technology and empathy!
