About VisIR Pty Ltd

VisIR is a pioneering Queensland firm renowned for its expertise in developing large-scale infrastructure projects and strategic investments. One of our most notable achievements, the $5 billion CopperString transmission network, is set to transform Northern Queensland's energy landscape. Spanning approximately 1,000 km from Townsville to Mount Isa, CopperString connects the isolated North West Minerals Province to the National Electricity Market, facilitating access to one of the world's richest deposits of critical minerals worth an estimated $500 billion, and Australia's highest quality and community-aligned clean energy resources. Our unique track record stems from a deep understanding of the political economy and the intricate dynamics of the power system. VisIR specialises in creating strategies that are robust under various policy and political scenarios, aligning capital formation with development opportunities, and building momentum with a broad ecosystem of stakeholders. We have forged valuable relationships with community and political leaders, industrial businesses, and capital providers, enabling us to de-risk development and execute transactions effectively. One of our flagship initiatives, the RAPAD Power Grid, exemplifies our commitment to empowering Queensland's clean energy future. This community-led project, initiated in collaboration with the Central Western Queensland Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD) and the Barcaldine Regional Council, integrates world-leading HVDC transmission technology, renewable generation, and large-scale battery storage. RAPAD Power Grid not only supports Queensland's clean industrial economy but also ensures that local communities have a significant positive influence on major power infrastructure developments in the region. At VisIR, we are dedicated to creating value through the energy transition and driving sustainable economic growth.
