About visitarebarcellona.com

VisitareBarcellona.com is a multilingual travel platform helping people plan better trips to Barcelona through practical, experience-driven content, SEO and social media. Founded by Valeria Pecorino and Pietro Facciolo, the project was born from a simple idea: to create travel guides based on local knowledge and everyday experience of Barcelona, going beyond generic tourist information and helping travellers make more informed choices before and during their trip. Over time, it has grown into an international digital ecosystem, expanded with BarcelonaHacks.com (EN) and VisiterBarcelone.com (FR), combining SEO, structured content, Instagram and a strong focus on user intent. The goal has always been the same: to make travel planning easier, clearer and more useful for people looking for reliable information about Barcelona. What makes the project different is the combination of content, visibility and distribution. On one side, content is designed around how people actually search, compare and plan a trip, with a practical approach built for every stage of the travel journey, from inspiration to decision-making and booking. The editorial strategy is supported by SEO, content structure and continuous optimisation, allowing the platform to build long-term organic visibility in a highly competitive market. On the other side, the project is supported by strong relationships within the Barcelona tourism ecosystem. Through Pietro’s work in partnerships, business development and commercial relations, VisitareBarcellona has built direct connections with leading attractions and global travel platforms such as Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, TMB, Barcelona Turisme, Tiqets, Viator and Booking. The project has also developed a strong social presence, with an Instagram community of over 50,000 followers, reinforcing its role as a trusted reference point for travellers planning Barcelona. Today, VisitareBarcellona continues to evolve alongside changes.
