About Vita Poetica

Vita Poetica connects and upholds artists of faith, enlivening spiritual conversations through the arts. We believe the creative process is a spiritual journey, that art is prayer and worship, and that both creative and spiritual practices create opportunities to encounter mystery and to deepen our awareness. We gather for community, publish an online quarterly journal of creative work, and offer workshops and other events, both virtually and in-person in the Washington, DC, area. Vita Poetica is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permissible by law.
