About Vivek Varma Architects

At Vivek Varma Architects, design has always been more than just form and function—it’s about creating connections. What began as an effort to craft spaces that shone like isolated jewels has grown into a philosophy of harmony: blending architecture with ecology, spirit, and experience. With over three decades of practice in Architecture and Interior Design, our work has pioneered retail and entertainment design in India. From designing India’s first full-scale malls and multiplexes to shaping iconic retail spaces like Crossword Bookstores and Planet M, our projects have consistently set new benchmarks. We are proud to be the only architectural firm recognized with an excellence award in this category and featured on the covers of leading design publications. Our portfolio spans public spaces, retail, media, education, hospitality, and more. What ties all our work together is an entrepreneurial spirit—we’ve often partnered with clients as sweat equity collaborators, helping bring ambitious ventures to life, whether schools, restaurants, or large-scale developments. At our core, we believe design is ever-evolving. We approach every project with curiosity, practicality, and a commitment to delivering solutions that stand the test of time. For us, architecture is not just about buildings—it’s about creating experiences that inspire and endure.
