About Vivekanand Swadhyay Mandal

Inspired by Swami Vivekananda's teachings, Vivekanand Swadhyay Mandal (VSM) was founded in 1999 by Dr. Shivendra Kumar Kashyap, Dean at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Swami Vivekananda believed that true education builds character, strengthens the mind, and expands intellect. This philosophy is the foundation of VSM's mission. The impact of VSM is so intense that thousands of its youths have been dedicating themselves to uplift masses at the lowest stratum. VSM has grown into a vibrant community of academicians, student volunteers from Pantnagar University, and industry professionals worldwide. We focus on instilling values such as social justice, tolerance, universal acceptance, gender equality, and a quest for excellence in the youth through scientifically designed interventions. For over two decades, VSM has tirelessly pursued the goal of 'man-making,' impacting thousands of lives. Together, we strive to build a youth-empowered, spiritually awakened, and socially sensitive nation. Join us in making a meaningful difference.
