About Volunteer Tutors Organisation

Volunteer Tutors Organisation (VTO) is an educational charity based in Glasgow. Our main aim is to provide free one-to-one tutoring services to disadvantaged primary and secondary school children of the Greater Glasgow Area who need help with literacy, study skills, maths or specialist subjects. Established in 1977, VTO is growing to include new educational projects to improve the confidence and prospects of young people in our local communities. We recruit, train and support volunteer tutors in giving one-to-one educational support and guidance. If you would like to learn more about VTO, please call the office on 0141 946 6498 or email us at admin@vtoscotland.org. Our new website is launching soon to make applications for volunteers and referrals for children even easier, so stay tuned for exciting news!
