The VR Refiner is an innovative vapour recovery solution designed for service stations, using advanced low-temperature condensation technology to capture and process Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) generated during fuel transfer operations. Instead of losing gasoline vapours to the atmosphere or returning them to tanker trucks during deliveries, the system recovers these vapours and converts them back into liquid fuel, enabling immediate resale by the station operator. The VR Refiner is compatible with open-vented, Stage I, and Stage II service station configurations. Equipped with an integrated fuel collection tank, the system automatically stores recovered liquids and transfers them back into the underground storage tank (UST) once a predefined level is reached. Its built-in monitoring technology accurately measures and reports the volume of recovered fuel returned to storage, ensuring transparency and operational control. Field evaluations have demonstrated measurable reductions in wet stock losses, with improvements ranging from 0.11% up to 0.2%, depending on site location and operating conditions.
