About Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation

Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation (VIA Foundation) is a non-profit working to accelerate and scale finance for locally led land restoration across member countries of the African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative (AFR100). As the first pan-African institution solely focused on restoration funding, we partner directly with local organizations to implement high-quality, community-driven projects in vital areas for people, nature, and climate. We also provide concessional capital to unlock blended finance solutions that bring together public, philanthropic, and private investments. In addition, we offer hands-on portfolio management and standardized project selection, contracting, and reporting procedures to ensure effective implementation and monitoring.
