About Waco Civic Theatre

Waco Civic Theatre is where artistry meets community. For nearly a century, we’ve been Central Texas’s stage for bold storytelling, unforgettable performances, and transformative arts experiences. From Broadway blockbusters to daring new works, we bring together local talent and professional artistry to create productions that inspire, challenge, and unite audiences. We’re more than a stage—we’re a cultural heartbeat. Our year-round programming includes large-scale musicals, thought-provoking dramas, youth productions, and educational initiatives that empower the next generation of performers, technicians, and arts leaders. With an annual audience of over 30,000 and a reach that extends far beyond Waco, we are proud to be a place where the magic of live theatre is accessible to everyone. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, every night at Waco Civic Theatre is a chance to experience the thrill of a story told live—shared laughter, collective gasps, and moments that stay with you long after the curtain falls.
