About Waikato Intercultural Fund

The Waikato Intercultural Fund (WIF) is dedicated to creating a more connected and inclusive community by supporting activities that bring people of all cultures, traditions, and backgrounds together. Our vision is a flourishing intercultural society in Aotearoa New Zealand, where diversity is celebrated and genuine human connections thrive. Through initiatives like the Movement for Open Culture Aotearoa (MOCA), WIF encourages everyone to embrace an open heart, an open mind, and an open door. Driven by volunteers, WIF empowers people and communities across the Waikato to practice open-minded inclusion every day, creating lasting connections that strengthen the social fabric of our region.
