About Walters Landscaping

Walters Landscaping is a landscape design and construction company serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities. We specialize in hardscaping, garden planting, and the creation of beautiful outdoor living spaces that enhance residential properties. For more than 70 years, we have been designing and building landscapes through thoughtful design, quality construction, and carefully selected planting. Founded in 1954 by Walter Kuettel, who immigrated to Canada from Switzerland with training in traditional European gardening, the company was built on a commitment to exceptional customer service, quality workmanship, and lasting value. What began as a small operation with a truck and lawn mower grew into a respected landscaping company throughout the region. Over the decades, Walters Landscaping has remained a family-run business built on craftsmanship, trust, and long-standing client relationships. Today, our team works closely with clients from initial design through construction and planting, creating outdoor environments that are both visually striking and built to last.
