About Waltham Partnership For Youth

Our mission is to collaborate with youth, families, and partner organizations to address long-standing systemic inequities while building a community of belonging and opportunity for Waltham youth. We envision a world where young people have the skills, resources and opportunities to participate fully in their communities and create their own paths to success and well-being. Our work is guided by our core values of belonging, collaboration, compassion, courageous honesty, and a youth-centric approach. WPY serves over 800 youth annually, connecting them to education, career pathways, social-emotional support, and community resources. Key Initiatives include: Career Exploration & Training: Paid internships, mentoring, career workshops, and professional development for high school students. Wraparound Waltham: Holistic support for newcomer immigrant students, including case management, bilingual counseling, and community resource navigation. Research & Education: Leadership of national survey on student well-being to inform local programming and policies.
