About WarDocs- The Military Medicine Podcast
Military medicine saves lives in the most unforgiving environments on earth. The WarDocs who serve — from combat medics to surgeons, from flight nurses to preventive medicine officers — carry hard-earned lessons that no textbook captures and no training manual can fully replicate. WarDocs — The Military Medicine Podcast exists to make sure those lessons are never lost. We are a 501(c)(3) veteran-run non-profit dedicated to honoring the legacy, preserving the oral history, and showcasing the career opportunities, unique expeditionary experiences, and achievements of Military Medicine. With 250+ episodes published, we document the voices of the Docs who served — across every Service, rank, and Corps — so current and future generations can learn from those who led. Our Mission: Connect those who have led with those who will lead — inspiring and equipping the next generation of military medicine professionals through mentorship, coaching, and education. What we do: • Preserve oral histories of military medicine for the permanent record • Share operational lessons that improve readiness and clinical outcomes • Mentor medical students, residents, and active-duty providers • Bridge warfighter clinical reality with medical education and innovation • Serve as an authentic recruitment and retention asset for military medicine If you served in uniform as a WarDoc — or you're on that path — this is your community. 🎙️ Listen at wardocspodcast.com | Support the mission at wardocspodcast.com/donate
