About Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing - Royal Air Force Air Cadets

Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing is part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC), a UK-wide youth organisation that gives young people aged 12 to 20 the chance to take part in exciting activities and challenges while developing valuable skills for life. Covering over 20 squadrons across the region, we offer structured training in aviation, adventure, leadership, and personal development. Our Wing provides cadets with opportunities such as flying, gliding, fieldcraft, shooting, cyber, and drill. We also support academic growth through nationally recognised qualifications like the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and BTEC programs. Our activities are led by a dedicated team of adult volunteers who help cadets grow in confidence, resilience, and leadership. We are proud to represent the RAFAC in Warwickshire and Birmingham and are committed to inspiring the next generation through fun, challenge, and service. Whether on the parade square, in the air, or out in the field, our cadets are always pushing themselves to achieve more. If you’re a young person looking for adventure and new skills, or an adult interested in volunteering and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Venture – Adventure – Achieve.
