About Water, Waste and Environment Consultants

Water, Waste and Environment Consultants (WWEC) is a Malawian based consulting firm that ensures projects are carried out in harmony with the environment. The consulting firm was registered in 2005, under the Business Names Registration Act (Cap. 46.02), and with the National Construction Industry Council (NCIC). The firm has an extensive network with other consulting firms as well as individual consultants working in specialized fields to offer a wide range of services to local and international organizations. Since its registration, WWEC has delivered quality projects for public and private sector clients in Malawi and bordering countries. WWEC has provided consultancy services for the Government of Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda; a number of Statutory Corporations in Malawi including the Southern, Northern and Central Region Water Boards; the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM), and Non-Governmental Organizations including Plan Malawi and National AIDS Commission (NAC); and the Private Sector. On most of the assignments WWEC was engaged by the World Bank or the respective Governments on World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB) or European Commission supported projects. Our business philosophy emphasizes on quality work, professionally meeting client needs within the agreed time, thereby maintaining long-term relationships.
