About WaterGroup Pty Ltd

WaterGroup is now part of the NPS family. Together, we deliver smarter, stronger, and more sustainable water management solutions across Australia. This partnership unites WaterGroup’s expertise in smart metering, leak detection, and water efficiency with NPS’s end-to-end plumbing and maintenance capabilities — offering clients one complete solution from insight to action. Founded in 2006, WaterGroup is one of Australia’s largest integrated water and network efficiency companies. We help commercial, industrial, and institutional building owners, operators, and water authorities reduce risks, avoid losses, and secure lasting water savings. Our proven track record includes: • Helping a food processor save $45,000 in water per year from a $230,000 investment. • Installing a $54,000 smart metering system at a large campus, preventing $78,000 of water waste. • Detecting leaks at a major Australian airport with an ROI of 8 months and annual savings of $45,000. • Deploying a permanent SebaKMT N3 leak detection system across Sydney CBD. • Designing two of the world’s largest rainwater harvesting systems, collecting $38,000 worth of free water annually through our innovative peak flow diversion and monitoring technology. • Supporting organisations with corporate water strategies, recycling initiatives, and management of approvals. Our mission is to empower businesses to understand their water use, uncover cost-effective savings, and achieve measurable ROI. We provide audits, detailed engineering, leak reduction programs, smart metering and monitoring, performance verification, and guaranteed delivery — ensuring value and sustainability every step of the way.
