About Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative

Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative is a non-profit organization established in 2018 registered under Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number RC158800 (www.webfalainitiative.org). We empower underprivileged children, girls, youths and women in Nigeria (53% of whom live under the poverty line) with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) education and digital literacy skills that will enable them create their own future and compete favorably in this digital age. Since the inception of our organization, through community engagements, Webfala has been able to organise over 150 trainings and workshops, impacted over 25,000 young people, trained over 1800 educators and engaged more than 150 schools in 12 of the 36 states in Nigeria with support and partnership from Kwara State Government, SAP Africa, Cape Town Science Centre, The DO, Germany, The Nigerian Women's Trust Fund (funded by Ford Foundation) and Osun State Government. We believe every African child and young adult should be digitally literate and have digital skills.
