About Wellness House of Yakima

Wellness House creates a supportive community for people in the Yakima Valley challenged by their own life-threatening illness or that of a loved one. By offering programming that complements central treatment such as counseling services, client navigation and advocacy, support groups, lending boutiques for cancer patients, knitting circles, an educational library, targeted wellness classes and workshops, we consider the whole person. Research suggests that this kind of wrap-around support improves outcomes and quality of life for all affected by life-challenging illness.
