About Wes Carroll Tutoring & Coaching

Most tutors teach content. We teach high-potential students how to think. We're a small team of educators who specialize in one specific kind of student: the high-potential kid who's working hard, hitting walls, and not getting the results their ability should predict. The anxious overachiever. The perfectionist who freezes. The brilliant kid who's somehow falling behind. We know them well. We were them. Our approach goes beyond subject matter. We work on the habits underneath performance — how students plan, recover from setbacks, handle pressure, and learn from failure. We call it learning the habits of geniuses. It sounds ambitious because it is. The results parents see: higher scores, stronger grades, better competition placements. The results that last: students who know how they think, manage themselves under pressure, and stop needing a tutor. That's the goal. Independence, not dependence. If your student is capable of more than they're showing — or burning out trying to show it — we should talk.
