Wikinp is Nepal’s open, non-profit knowledge hub — built by the community for the community. It’s a people-powered digital encyclopedia that documents Nepal’s people, places, history, science, and culture. Anyone can contribute well-sourced articles, making Wikinp a free, ad-free, and public-benefit platform that preserves local knowledge and promotes media literacy. Founded in Kathmandu, Wikinp’s mission is to keep knowledge accessible, neutral, and verifiable. The platform encourages students, teachers, and researchers to create and improve articles in clear, simple language — bridging Nepal’s local wisdom with global audiences. Wikinp starts in English and is expanding into Nepali and other regional languages, building Nepal’s first multilingual, community-driven digital archive for future generations.
