About Women In Aviation, Marine and Transport (WiAM&T)

"To help support and further the careers of Women in our industry into senior management roles, through mentoring, advice, sharing ideas and connections. To encourage young people to enter the industry by giving a better understanding of the different opportunities available. By working together , we strengthen bonds and support each other to great heights. With respect, we challenge each other to push ourselves further. " Founded in 2020 on a voluntary basis we launched as a commercial business in 2024 with the same good intentions of supporting the industry with, Schools and College outreach programs, Mentoring and leadership programs and of course our full calendar of cross industry social networking, speaker events and super facility tours/opens days of our local partners. Adding Marine and Transport wings in 2026 we hope to support all 3 industries in the same way. We are committed to help closing the gender gap within transport whilst working on solutions to the skills shortage that we face as an Island and industry.
