About Women in Protection Network

The Women in Protection Network was established in 2017 to help make protection insurance more inclusive, accessible and relevant, so more people can achieve financial resilience. We exist to raise awareness of the protection needs of women, champion female talent, and encourage greater diversity across the protection industry. By bringing together professionals from across the sector, we share insight, challenge traditional thinking and work collaboratively to close the UK protection gap. While women remain at the heart of our work, the Network is open to everyone who believes the industry should better reflect the society it serves. We recognise that modern lives don’t fit a one‑size‑fits‑all model, and protection must evolve to meet the needs of a broader range of consumers. The Network is run on a voluntary basis by a passionate executive team, supported by ambassadors and members across insurers, distributors and service providers.
