About Women in the hood

Women In The Hood is a women-only, community-first platform nurturing hyperlocal networks of solidarity, support, and shared growth. We began in Delhi-NCR with a simple idea: connection doesn’t have to be distant, and belonging can begin with the women right around us. At the heart of WITH is a belief in what becomes possible when women come together with openness, purpose, and care. Our work takes shape through three pathways. We host in-person meetups, sister circles, and shared experiences that offer more than conversation and create space to unwind, find joy, and connect with women outside the frame of family and work. These circles offer the kind of presence that’s often missing from busy lives, and the lightness that comes from simply being in good company. We also support discovery and collaboration through a growing directory and marketplace for women-led talent: from mentors and creatives to solopreneurs and small business owners. It’s a space to be found, backed, and recommended by those nearby. Finally, we enable the flow of resources, opportunities, and local support, helping women stay informed and connected to what matters within their circles. WITH is built to be inclusive, thoughtful, and rooted in everyday life. It exists to make it easier for women to find one another, hold space when it’s needed, and build communities that last.
