About Women's Board Award

Goals of the Award: - Making the achievements of women at board level visible - Broadening the pool of female candidates for board chairmanship - Broadening the competencies integrated into the board of directors - Promoting diversity at board level - Strengthening women in business The award was originally launched in Norway (2010) - followed by Sweden (2012) as Gabrielsen Prisen. The concept was developed to international standards and relaunched as Women's Board Award in Denmark (2014) and Finland (2016), Switzerland (2019) to identify female excellence and performance at the highest level of management: www.womensboardaward.dk and www.womensboardawward.ch
