But with full participation, that number could rise by $10.2 trillion. That gap is not just a matter of equity—it’s a national economic imperative. The Women’s Entrepreneurship Institute (WEI) is a nonprofit think-and-do tank dedicated to advancing women entrepreneurs as a powerful engine for economic growth. WEI is the only nonpartisan nonprofit solely dedicated to advancing women’s business ownership through transformative research, education, and policy innovation. WEI serves as a collaborative platform—working alongside existing organizations, business networks, academic institutions, and policy leaders to consolidate knowledge, research, resources to accelerate progress across the entire women’s entrepreneurship landscape.
