About Women Volunteers for Peace (WOVOP)
WOVOP started in August 2018 as a Students Talks Program hosted in local secondary schools and universities in Kisumu ,Kenya with an aim of enhancing the understanding of peace, helping to identify threats and issues that undermine peace in learning Institutions (that causes strike and school fires) and the community at large, and most importantly, provide information on how to report and mitigate potential threats.
