About Work of Your Hand International Development

Work of Your Hand International Development desires to help artisans from developing nations find dignity and self-worth through work that pays fair wages. We believe that "trade not aid" will help alleviate poverty, and therefore purchase third world products for fair wages, then import and sell them to first-world nations. Proceeds are used to purchase more products from these artisans or equipment they need for production, as well as help with education, health care, housing, etc. Work of Your Hand believes if consumers purchase with awareness (understanding who made the product and their life situation), then poverty can be alleviated one purchase at a time.
