WRe, formally Worldwide Insurance Ltd (Lauriston Wilson, Jr) was incorporated in Grenada in 1994, and was acquired by Mr. Patrick E. Taylor, MoM, CPCU, AMIM, AIS, MCGI, in 2006, and further incorporated in Trinidad & Tobago and the Republic of Guyana. Since 2006, Worldwide Reinsurance Limited (WRe) has contributed to the evolution of and policy development of the secondary insurance market in the Caribbean. Worldwide has strategically opened access for Brokers in the Eastern Caribbean, Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Venezuela and the United Kingdom. WRe is duly equipped to provide reinsurance coverages for intermediaries in a timely, prudent, and localised manner.
