About WP Lavori in Corso

WP Lavori in Corso was born in 1982 from an idea by Cristina and Giuseppe Calori of offering a new aesthetic model based on a selection of clothes with a strong identity and high quality. The art of selecting avant-garde products and creating a perfect mix, has decreed WP as a company able to influence the way to live fashion. The distribution of iconic brands that has determined the success of WP over the years includes Desert Sons, Vans, Woolrich, Barbour, Paraboot, Columbia, Filson, Kiehls, Nautica, Eagle, Hanes, Spiewak, Barena, Avon Celli and many others. The first WP concept store opened in Bologna in 1985. It is a unique location for experiencing a clothing style that escapes widestream tastes and enhances authenticity and originality. Everything is studied in detail from the selection of brands to the interior design. In addition to the WP retail network that has 8 stores, WP manages the Barbour and Baracuta mono-brand stores in Italy. WP can rely on a network of showrooms and an excellent system of wholesale stores, assuring the best positioning worldwide. Today the WP portfolio includes around thirty brands. Baggies are WP owned brands that are sold all over the world. In addition, the company proposes research brands such as Beams, Nanamica and Goldwin. In 2016, WP acquired the Woolrich brand that if had distributed for 32 years and for which it bought the licence for design and production in 1998. From then on, a series of investments started until WP sold its Woolrich holding two years later. Today, WP Lavori in Corso keeps screening avant-garde proposals.
