About WWF Verdensnaturfonden / WWF Denmark

WWF-Denmark is part of the international WWF Network, the world’s leading, independent conservation organisation. WWF's mission is to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. Founded in 1961, we are active in over 100 countries and have close to six million supporters internationally. WWF-Denmark was founded in 1972 by His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science. Our work is partnership-driven at every level from local to global. By working with partners across public and private sectors, we ensure the delivery of innovative solutions and business practices that save biodiversity, reduce humanity’s impact on natural habitats, and advance sustainable development across the globe. We also partner to expand environmental awareness among consumers and other stakeholders through education, advocacy, and cause-related marketing.
