About YapaTree Properties

YapaTree is a Cuenca-based locally rooted team specializing in helping expats and international clients move to Cuenca, Ecuador with clarity, confidence, and local support. We assist clients with short- and long-term rentals, property searches and management, and relocation guidance, while also educating them on what life in Cuenca is really like. Through practical content, local insights, and transparent communication, we help people understand neighborhoods, costs of living, legal considerations, and day-to-day realities before and after they arrive. Our work goes beyond buying or renting property. We listen closely to our clients’ goals and concerns and support them through the full relocation process, acting as a trusted local point of reference during a major life transition. Many of our clients are relocating for retirement, lifestyle changes, family reasons, or long-term stays, and we focus on creating a smooth and informed landing in this new stage of life. YapaTree is built on honesty, clear communication, and long-term relationships. Our mission is to help people relocate to Cuenca with realistic expectations, strong local guidance, and a true sense of belonging.
