==About Us== This foundation was established to promote vernacular architecture. Vernacular is born and rooted in the lives of the oppressed. They are compelled to transform local resources into spontaneous and intelligent dwellings. If they endure, they become traditions and are passed down. The essence of architecture is the science and art of designing and constructing buildings, while buildings are a series of spaces arranged to give meaning to communal activities. This foundation encourages scholars to appreciate the wisdom behind "vernacular." As a result, architectural education becomes more vibrant, balanced, and sustainable. Dissemination of ideas regarding how to build in accordance with the findings of Indonesian Vernacular Architecture in contemporary contexts through the governance of the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. 2. Establishment of a reward system for Indonesian scholars in the field of Vernacular Architecture research. 3. Availability of funding methods for the development of Vernacular Architecture research in Indonesia. 4.
