About Yazele-Calon Institute

This independent Research and Development Institute conducts high-quality research on the life course and pathways of babies, children, and young people from ethnic and racial minorities, with the goal of improving their developmental outcomes. It also promotes and evaluates interventions aimed at increasing the chances of success for these children and young people, with a focus on scaling up those interventions that prove effective. The Institute's priority is the largest ethnic minority in Europe, the Roma. Thus, our current work focuses on Romani children, youth and families.
