YORE was born in October 2020 within the University of Trento, thanks to four co-founders: Elisa Moretti, Niccolò Carlino, Nicolò Zecchinelli and Andrea Dalle Grave. At YORE, we are revolutionizing the tattoo industry with cutting-edge biotech solutions that make tattoo removal safer, faster, and more efficient. Our mission is to empower individuals to embrace change by providing innovative products and services that simplify the process of tattoo removal, foster safety and quality in the sector. We aim to solve today’s challenges faced by customers and deliver value not only to them but across the entire supply chain in this sector. By combining expertise in biotechnology, business, and innovation, we push the boundaries of what's possible in body art and modification. Our first product is a biotech-modified black ink, designed to improve the effectiveness of laser tattoo removal. By enhancing the ink’s ability to absorb laser energy, we reduce the number and intensity of sessions required—making the process more accessible and less invasive. Alongside this, we are developing a microneedle patch that delivers a targeted active ingredient to extract traditional tattoo ink directly from the skin, offering a painless and non-invasive alternative to laser removal.
