About Yoruba Cultural Heritage Centre

The Yoruba Cultural Heritage Centre {YCHC} is a non-profit and non-government organization, that supports the activities of volunteers – cultural entrepreneurs, artists, teachers, students, dancers, musicians, theatre, and groups. We are Yoruba translators, we provide Yoruba language learning, and cultural programs of the highest quality to our diverse community of children, teens, and adults alike. The YCHC preserves and promotes Yoruba cultural heritage, educates the public about our local history, and organizes Yoruba cultural lives worldwide. We hunt for talents in all facets of creative expression. We honour and respect the creativity and diversity of Yoruba tradition and cultural heritage. We also raise, invest, and distribute funds for the benefit of the Yoruba language learning, culture, customs, and community. We organize different cultural events all year round, music, concerts, and performances, and promote Yoruba musicians, artists, dance, and theatre. We promote and attend annual cultural festivals in Yoruba towns and villages. We ensure cultural participation for all Yoruba groups of the society in voluntary creative arts expression. We earnestly scout and collect historical, ancient, and modern stories from local inhabitants of our towns and villages, support community development, and give scholarships, and grants to Yoruba indigent students, artists, and talented upcoming musicians. We work with the local community, build its identity and pride, and thus create local social capital. We are tourist consultants, supporting and implementing international exchange programs, community outreach programs, and Yoruba diaspora international tourism. We value your connection and we invite you to join us and be a member, to help us actualize our laudable programs and aspirations. Please follow our social pages to see our activities and visit our website to see our vision and mission. Website: https://www.yorubaculturalcentre.org
