About YOU IN AFRICA

We are You in Africa, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in Kenya. Founded in 2018 by a Brazilian inspired by their volunteer experience in the country, our mission is to provide quality food and education to underprivileged communities. Currently, we operate in five communities in Kenya: Thika, Makuyu, Ruiru, Kibera, and Cheptulu. With passion and determination, we serve approximately 800 children every day, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and education. Additionally, we have a student sponsorship program that supports the educational development of these children, offering opportunities for learning and growth. At You in Africa, we believe that every child deserves a fair chance in life, regardless of where they are born. We work tirelessly to create a positive and lasting impact, empowering these children with the tools they need for a brighter future. Our motto is: "To do good, there are no borders." We believe that kindness and solidarity transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, and we are committed to building a world where all children have access to quality food and education. Join us on this transformative journey because we believe that together, we can build a better world. Be a part of the change, connect with us, and be the difference the world needs.
