About Young Lives Ethiopia

Young Lives is an international study of childhood poverty following the lives of 12,000 children in Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam over 20 years. In Ethiopia we follow the lives of 3,000 children, produce research and generate evidence to help policymakers design programmes that make a real difference to children and their families. Child Research and Practice Forum The Child Research and Practice Forum (CRPF) was created in 2010 with the main objectives of linking Ethiopian research, practice, and policy. Young Lives has taken the lead in coordinating the forum with support from UNICEF Ethiopia and other agencies. The CRPF meets monthly to share recent research findings, policy recommendations and discuss best practices in child, girls and adolescents-focussed programmes. It also publishes newsletters and annual publications for wider dissemination.
