About YoungVibes

Young Vibes is a UK-based organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people who are struggling with anxiety, anxiety disorders and school refusal, often referred to as EBSA or EBSNA. Founded by Samantha Robins, Young Vibes takes a practical approach to childhood anxiety by helping families understand anxiety as a physical condition and addressing the physical symptoms that often drive avoidance behaviours. These symptoms can include panic attacks, OCD, disturbed sleep, sickness, social withdrawal, school avoidance and changes in behaviour. Through its online mentoring and support programme, Young Vibes works with families across the UK, Ireland and internationally, helping young people rebuild confidence and improve their overall wellbeing. Young Vibes provides a structured recovery programme designed to help families manage the physical symptoms of anxiety and support children in gradually re-engaging with school and everyday life. The programme typically runs over several months and includes a range of support services for both parents and children. Support available through Young Vibes includes: - Interactive Video Coaching: Easy-to-follow coaching videos for both parents and children, helping families understand anxiety and the steps needed for recovery. - 24/7 Support: Ongoing access to guidance via phone, WhatsApp and email whenever families need help. - Drop-In Sessions: Regular sessions where members can speak with coaches, ask questions and discuss progress. - One-to-One Mentoring: Personalised mentoring for children to help rebuild resilience and confidence, alongside tailored support for parents. - Community Network: Access to a supportive online network of other families through the Young Vibes community group. The Young Vibes Approach At the core of the Young Vibes approach is the belief that lasting progress begins at home. By equipping parents with the right understanding and strategies, families can create an environment that supports recovery from anxiety and school avoidance. The online format also allows Young Vibes to provide timely support to families who may otherwise struggle to access specialist help, ensuring children receive guidance when they need it most. Young Vibes Reviews and Results Young Vibes has received more than 400 five-star Young Vibes reviews from families who have taken part in the programme. Many parents report significant improvements in their children’s confidence, wellbeing and ability to manage anxiety symptoms, including progress with school attendance. Families also highlight improvements in communication, stronger family relationships and a greater understanding of how to support children experiencing anxiety.
