About Your Own English & Maths Teacher

Firstly, our English and Maths Tutors are qualified teachers with no exceptions. We teach English and Maths to primary, secondary, and adult learners every day, tailored, supportive and proactive, in schools and online. Every student is different, which is why we offer a range of teaching, learning and feedback methods to support positive academic and personal development. We provide peace of mind... - We are qualified, subject specialists with Enhanced DBS. - We work with parents, carers and schools to improve learners’ experiences. - We review learners’ work, prior to meeting them, to swiftly identify learning gaps. - Our teachers offer unlimited support between lessons. - We use an interactive teaching platform designed to deliver lessons, not meetings! The development of our learners, both academically and personally, is at the forefront of what we do. Supporting children’s positive mental health and self-esteem is at the forefront of our motivation. To improve this, learners are asked to provide a ‘win for the week’ to celebrate each lesson, along with a ‘challenge of the week’ which we break down and provide tips to tackle the next time they are faced a similar challenge. We praise our learners regularly for their engagement and send updates home to encourage the same here. All of our teachers are qualified, subject and examination board specialists. We work with our learners, parents/carers and school (if desired) to support every contact they make with education and encourage their confidence. We work alongside school curriculum plans to ensure that learning is transferable and progress is swift. Your teacher is there for you throughout the week, between your lessons to answer questions and provide guidance and support with school and homework.
