About Youth Care Africa

Youth Care Africa is a youth-led organization advancing education, health and well-being of adolescents and young people by creating safe, inclusive and empowering spaces where they can learn, grow, and realize their full potential. We advance education by offering quality, affordable education services through our Education Support Program (ESP), which is designed to meet learners where they are. This includes affordable home-based learning, virtual learning and structured tuition programs that provide personalized academic support. We also deliver remedial classes, exam preparation sessions, mentorship and study skills training to strengthen academic performance, improve retention, and ensure that no learner is left behind due to financial or social barriers. We advance health and well-being by promoting physical wellness and fitness through regular sports, games, and active recreational activities that encourage healthy lifestyles among adolescents and young people. We also support mental and emotional well-being by creating safe spaces, interactive sessions, and peer engagement activities that help young people manage stress, build confidence, and develop positive coping skills. In addition, we promote sexual and reproductive health awareness by providing accurate, age-appropriate information that empowers young people to make informed and responsible decisions about their bodies and relationships.
