About Youth Empowerment Organisation (YEO) Transforming Lives Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Srinagar, Youth Empowerment Organisation (YEO) is a non-profit committed to equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to become self-reliant, employable, and socially conscious leaders of tomorrow. At YEO, our mission is to empower youth—especially those from underrepresented communities—through skill-building, entrepreneurship training, and inclusive education. We envision a just and equitable society where young people are not only economically independent but are also positive agents of change. Through government-backed programs and strategic partnerships with institutions like IIT Delhi, NSDC, MSDE, UNICEF, and various ministries, YEO has: * Trained 100,000+ youth across 14+ states/UTs * Empowered over 15,000 women through entrepreneurship and self-defense initiatives * Placed 30,000+ youth in meaningful employment * Digitally equipped 1,200+ government schools * Created strong community roots in J&K, Ladakh, Northeast India, Uttar Pradesh, and beyond We serve youth aged 18 and above, including women and children, focusing on critical areas such as employability, entrepreneurship, education, and mental health. Combining community engagement, innovation, and scalable solutions, we aim to impact 1 million youth by 2030.
