Swedish born designer based in Paris, creates conceptual collections using innovative materials within furniture design, home decoration and Pret-a-porter. 2003 she launched her HOME COUTURE collection with big coverage in the international press & media such as AD Architectual Digest,Beaux Arts & Elle Deco etc . Her Home Couture collection consists of stylish furniture such as tabourets ,seats & headboards for modern, light and airy spaces. For the poolside area and beach, the chill-out range of waterproof & resistant furniture such as the Palm Tree Pouf, designed to fit around a palm tree trunk. The range of seats she calls SEAT OBJECTS since they are true design objects which you can sit on . The designer collaborates with architects for creation of interior concepts as well as design & production of furniture made to measure, both for inside and outdoor use. Her recent collaboration made her being FINALISTE in PARIS SHOP & DESIGN 2012 for her work of exclusivly designed furniture to the lounge area as well as the boutique of the Centre Optique du Marais.Her furniture are a 100% creation, all made in different shades of white and metallic's were upholstered in an exclusive designed leather .A typical work from YVONNE BÖRJESSON. Being Swedish, the designer has a natural feeling for warm, cosy materials, such as wool, leather and fur, often her own creations, which she uses in her winter collections.
