About ZABRA - Posthuman Art Research Center
ZABRA – Center for Posthuman Art Research develops research focused on the field of Mediatized Arts — encompassing other disciplines such as Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and New Media Art — where technology plays a crucial role in the production or representation of artworks and in their effects on the future of society. Through a transdisciplinary approach and interspecies dialogue, the center explores post-nature as a space for contemporary creation and encourages each artist-researcher to develop their own interpretation of art, technology, and science — transforming it exploratorily and delving into unknown territories. The question of each member’s individual research forms the foundation of ZABRA’s concept. By combining innovative technologies with a social and artistic mindset, a network and community are built that contribute to greater democratization of access to art, technology, and science.
