Our company operates in two main areas: 1) Environmental Research (Biotechnology & Water) 2) Marine, Coastal & Hydraulic Engineering (Structure Design & Analysis). In the first area, we provide specialised expertise in classical and molecular taxonomy of algae, algal ecology, biology, cultivation, and bioprocessing, including the development of seaweed-based biopolymer products such as agar, agarose, carrageenan, and alginates. We also investigate the potential of seaweed-derived compounds for agricultural, health, and cosmetic applications, and offer scientific consultation and knowledge-based services. In the second area, our engineering activities focus on the design and analysis of marine, coastal, and hydraulic structures, including coastal protection works, port and harbour infrastructure, offshore and nearshore structures, and hydraulic systems, delivering sustainable and resilient engineering solutions with integrated environmental considerations, particularly across the Persian Gulf region.
