About ZEP Mountain Bike Coaching

ZEP Mountain Bike Coaching Founded in 2006 in Whistler, BC, ZEP Mountain Bike Coaching is one of the original pioneers of skills-based mountain bike coaching and professional instructor training. For more than 20 years, ZEP has helped shape global coaching standards while delivering world-class rider development programs. Our coaching goes beyond technique — integrating technical skills, movement efficiency, confidence, and decision-making to create more capable riders both on and off the trail. Based in Whistler — the global mecca of mountain biking — ZEP delivers professional coaching across the Whistler Valley trail network and Whistler Mountain Bike Park, working with riders from beginners through to elite athletes. ZEP is also deeply involved in the evolution of professional mountain bike coach education. Through the Global Syndicate of Mountain Bike Coaches (GSMBC), we continue the work of building the next generation of instructors and coaches through structured certification, mentorship, and professional development. Our programs combine proven teaching methodology, real-world terrain application, and small group coaching to deliver meaningful skill progression, confidence, and performance. Core programs include: • Mountain bike lessons & skills coaching • Whistler Bike Park camps and clinics • Enduro & technical riding development • Private coaching & rider progression programs • Instructor certification & coach education For riders, athletes, and coaches alike, ZEP represents the benchmark for professional mountain bike coaching and education. 📍 Whistler 🌍 Coach education and certification programs delivered worldwide
