According to the latest estimates by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the number of people suffering from global hunger in 2022 is likely to be between 691 million and 783 million. Additionally, food insecurity has significantly increased from 25.3% of the global population in 2019 to 29.6% in 2022. FAO also estimates that smallholder farmers worldwide produce approximately one-third of the world’s food, contributing substantially to agrifood systems and economies globally, despite their labor productivity still lagging behind that of larger-scale producers. ZeroHunger Consulting is an organization registered in Canada that helps transform agrifood systems to end hunger and improve nutrition. We primarily focus on enhancing food and nutrition security, safety, and the environment. Our core services include training, proposal development, project implementation, evaluation, and scientific writing and translation. We also help establish new partnerships between Canadian public and private institutions and companies in the Global South to promote technical and scientific collaboration and two-way trade related to our main impact areas, with a special focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. Our team comprises experienced professionals proficient in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. They are based in Canada, the Netherlands, Panama, Bolivia, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
